A Trusted Non-Profit Education Support Organization
Anjuman Wazifa is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to supporting Shia Muslim students in the United States through interest-free educational loans. We believe that financial limitations should never stand in the way of education. By partnering with our community, we help students enrolled in accredited colleges and universities pursue their academic goals with confidence, dignity, and long-term impact. Our work is guided by transparency, trust, and a shared responsibility to invest in the future.

- Our Mission & Vision
Our mission and vision is to elevate the intellectual capital of our community by facilitating higher education
The average cost of attendance for a public university in the US is over $25,000 per year. Most students cannot finance their higher education without taking on substantial interest bearing debt. This adds to an already expensive process of obtaining an education and leads to 100s of thousands of dollars spent on interest and fees.
Our Beliefs & Values
All Islamic traditions forbid Muslims from dealing in ribā, which was traditionally translated as usury and in modern form is understood as interest. We seek to eliminate the use of interest within our community as a goal.
“… if the reward of charity is 10 parts, then the reward of an interest free loan is 18 parts.”
